Background: Tumor Induced osteomalacia (TIO) is a rare acquired disorder in children characterized by hypophosphatemia, phosphaturia and rickets/osteomalacia. This condition is causes by mesenchymal tumor that produce phosphaturic factors resulting in decrease renal phosphate reabsorption.
